A late 19th or early 20th century Shaker "picket fence" laundry basket from Pleasant Hill in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. The basket is ingeniously and elegantly designed for air flow and movement to accommodate textiles. Carefully assessed and restored by a master furniture maker in Oak Hill, New York.
