A restored, framed, tin-glazed 18th Century European faience ceramic tile. In the blue and white pastoral scene, classical figures frolic among a landscape of trees and water, surrounded by a decorative frame of scrolling foliage and stylized motifs.
The tile shows clear signs of age and restoration and has been repaired from multiple fragments. The antique frame has been recently repainted.
