Elaine Equi was born in 1953 in Oak Park, Illinois. Her books include Ripple Effect and The Intangibles, with poems featured in The New Yorker, Poetry, and The Best American Poetry. She teaches in MFA programs at City College of New York and The New School and received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2024.
Jerome Sala is an American poet whose writing often explores pop culture and social critique. He has published seven works of poetry, including Corporations Are People Too! and Raw Deal.
