Hódmezővásárhely, Hungary — 1960s
A narrow necked vase from one of Hungary's most storied ceramic centers, Hódmezővásárhely. This piece carries the distinctive pamacsolt glaze — a technique of dabbing and layering color by hand — resulting in a surface that is never quite the same twice.
