A faithful study on wood after Giotto's Raising of Lazarus. The accuracy in the proportions and palette suggest relative facility and knowledge of art history and practice. Either unfinished or executed as a sketch, the student left the faces featureless, focusing instead on the dynamic composition of bodies.
