Early Welsh armchair with exceptional patina and wear. Hand turned and fashioned with peg construction.
The surface shows deep time, centuries of sitters, with visible wear along the arms and edges and a very worn in stretcher bar, where feet rested after a long day.
Chalk marks on verso show a child's signature—a young person playing and leaving their mark.
